The mighty Salem Composite Descenders mountain bike team is composed of middle school and high school student-athletes from around the Salem area. They’ve been growing steadily since the Oregon League’s inception in 2017 with an amazing crew of riders and coaches all focused on one thing: having the most fun possible on two wheels. Funds raised through the sale of official Descender merch goes toward their student-athlete scholarship fund (i.e. league tuition; bike loaner program) and coach certification program.
